Why Offshore.
Offshore winds are winds blowing from land to water. It is these winds that shape great waves and create ideal conditions for surfers.
We are a similar force that aims to shape future leaders and create opportunity.
Established in 2022 on the Big Island.
Respect for the island, the culture, and the people is our top priority. Besides educating the students about future planning and admissions processes, we plan to introduce events that educate our community about the Island and its culture.
Our Values.
Every Student Defines Their Own Success.
Our Community Comes First.
Be Kind To Yourself. Be Kind To Others.

My Story: On December 31st, 2020 I was working for Goldman Sachs and took a two week vacation to the Big Island. Those two weeks turned into two months and those two months have now turned into a lifetime. The Big Island is the first place I can independently and confidently call home. In light of the above, I was unable to move back to San Francisco when I was asked to return to the office in June 2021.
In an indefinitely extended two-week vacation, I came to know incredible individuals I can call forever friends. They are teachers, and their enthusiasm for students and the community inspired me to pursue a career in education. Having lived on the island for over a year, I want to create a community where I can share my passion for learning and challenging oneself. I hope to inspire young adults to follow their dreams and provide them with a springboard to do so.
In addition to my work at Offshore, I work part time as a teacher assistant at Kahakai Elementary School. Today, I spend my free time training for the 2021 Ironman World Championship in Kona and for various marathons and trail running adventures with the endurance community. I'm currently completing my certification in College Counseling from UCLA Extension School.
